Ever since I watched the movie “Interview with the Vampire” with Brad Pitt and Christian Slater, I was captivated by vampires. I guess it had a lot to do with my fascination with cheesy horror movies in the late 80′s and early 90′s when I was a kid growing up.

Vampires presumably stay “alive” by feasting on living creatures, usually by drinking their blood. Myth or not, it has been argued that belief in vampires have existed since prehistoric times. However, the word “vampire” didn’t become popular until the 18th century.

It is Bram Stoker’s “Dracula” that is remembered as the “quintessential vampire novel and which provided the basis of modern vampire fiction” as quoted by Wikipedia.

My bloodthirsty interest in vampires came alive once again when Twilight first came out. I hadn’t even heard of the book yet. I might as well have been living under a rock. But I was once again intrigued all over again because it was about a vampire (nevermind studly) falling madly in love with an average young teenage girl.

So I decided to create this website for those of you who want to become vampires for Halloween… or any time of the year.

Recently I was visiting YouTube and found a real cool video that a woman made to illustrate how she does her vampiress makeup. In the beginning she looks like a total plain Jane. But wow! With the wig, makeup, contacts, and fangs she turned into a totally different person… a hot vampire of sorts!
